There are no letters on the keyboard so text must be entered using the arrow keys on the keypad. Available character positions are displayed between square brackets as follows:

Initial text is not defined and all blanks will be displayed. Press the left < or right > arrow to move the cursor the desired character location. Then press the up /\ or down \/ arrow to increment or decrement the displayed character. Following are the differences for each type of text asked for in various places in the program.
